One Day workshop was conducted on Educating DWMS (Digital Workforce Management System ) Application which is regulated by K-DISC (Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council) in collaboration with ASAP Kerala, on 1st February of 2023 at AV Hall, MIC Arts and Science College. The Welcome speech was made by Muhammad Yashik C, Assistant Professor of English. The program was inaugurated by Principal Dr.M Usman Sir and talked on contemporary relevance of skilling, upskilling and reskilling of students in corporate and academic domains. The Session was taken by Chief Guest Mrs.Laila CM ( personality Development professional of Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission, ASAP Skill Development Executive ).Over 180 students have been registered in DWMS Connect.
It is function under the physical education department. it provides coaching and training and by participating in various tournaments meets and competitions aim at the organic fitnes development of neuro -muscular coordination and the development of character and personality of the students.
The aim of the Equal Opportunity and SC/ST cell of the institute is to provide equal opportunity in education and employment so as to improve their social and educational status. It helps them to take their rightful place in the mainstream of society. While establishing the higher educational institution, the management has adopted policies of the government in recruiting and admitting the students from the SC-ST sections. The policies adopted in the institution comply with the regulations laid by UGC.
ED Club Organised an Entrepreneurship Orientation Programme with the support of DIC,It is functioning in the college with the objective of inculcating entrepreneurial culture among the students. The club aims to infuse creativity and innovation among the members in a bid to tackle unemployment and to foster economic growth. The club organises and conducts various programmes like seminars, workshop, industrial visit, interaction with successful Entrepreneurs etc. for the club members. Thus, it helps the members to be equipped with skills, techniques and confidence to act as torch-bearers of the Enterprise of the new generation.
The Nature Club at MIC College is a student-led organization that aims to promote environmental awareness and conservation activities on campus and in the surrounding community. Our college is conducted programs under music club each year with unique names. This year it was named as Euphoria, it aimed to increase the musical and skills of students.
Media Club was unable to organize individual programs due to conflicting academic schedules. However, the Club had a great opportunity to participate in a photography workshop hosted by the Mass Communication Department. The workshop provided a platform for the students to explore their interests in photography and learn new skills from professionals in the field. The Media Club students who participated in the workshop gained valuable insights into photography and were able to apply their newly acquired knowledge in various media-related activities. Despite the challenges in organizing individual programs, the Media Club has continued to thrive and provide opportunities for students to connect, learn and engage in various forms of media.

Yoga is a holistic approach toward better health.Yoga asana is the physical practice and postures of yoga. It helps to achieve physical and mental health. Yogic practices help to improve our flexibility, perfect our posture, relieve our stress, improve quality of life, and improve balance and concentration. Yoga may improve cardiovascular functioning, brain functioning, improve quality of sleep and boost your immunity. Regular practice of yoga may help to reduce the risk of lifestyle diseases and hormonal diseases.
Students benefit from joining anti-drug clubs as they provide education on the risks of substance abuse, offer a supportive community to discuss concerns, promote advocacy for drug-free lifestyles, foster personal development through leadership and teamwork, contribute to prevention efforts via awareness campaigns, and empower students to influence their peers positively, thereby creating a healthier school and community environment overall.
Red Ribbon Club (RRC) is a voluntary on-campus intervention implemented in MSSW aimed at creating awareness about the high risk perception and preventing HIV as well as promoting voluntary blood donation among the students. The RRC conducts these activities with the support of the State Department of Higher Education.
