MIC ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE ADMISSIONS POLICY

1. Admission Process
  • Admissions are conducted as per the university schedule under a single window system.
  • Candidates must register online through the university's official platform and obtain a CAP (Centralized Allotment Process) ID.
2. Application Process
  • For Merit Seats: Apply online through the university under the Single Window system. Admission is based on university allotment.
  • For Management Seats: Apply directly to the college using the prescribed application form. Submit the completed form along with the application fee.
3. Interview and Document Submission
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview and must provide the following documents:
    • CAP Registration Form
    • Payment Receipt of Mandatory Fee
    • Original Certificates (SSLC, +2)
    • Transfer Certificate (TC)
    • Conduct Certificate from the last attended institution
    • 4 copies of passport-size color photographs
4. Eligibility
  • Undergraduate Programs: Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary education (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Postgraduate Programs: Candidates must have completed an undergraduate program from a recognized university or an equivalent examination.
5. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Admissions
  • 1. Online Registration: Register online through the university's portal to obtain a CAP ID.
  • 2. Application Process:
    • For Merit Seats: Apply online through the Single Window system and await university allotment.
    • For Management Seats: Obtain the prescribed application form from the college office, pay the application fee, and submit the completed form.
  • 3. Selection Process:
    • Merit Seats: Await university allotment.
    • Management Seats: The college reviews applications and selects candidates.
  • 4. Interview: Candidates selected for interview must attend as per the schedule.
  • 5. Document Submission: Submit required documents for verification during the interview process.
  • 6. Verification: College staff will verify eligibility and documents.
  • 7. Fee Payment: After document verification, candidates must pay the required fees.
  • 8. Admission Confirmation: After fee payment and successful verification, admission is confirmed.
  • 9. Orientation: Newly admitted students may attend an orientation program.
  • 10. Class Commencement: Classes commence as per the official schedule.
